I started my career as a therapist working with children and adolescents for a charity and then moved on to work for various NHS trusts in outpatient mental health services working with adults experiencing a variety of anxiety and mood disorders, grief and loss.

I provide cognitive behavioural therapy for people on limited incomes, at reduced rates. I also have worked as a Clinical Specialist with people who are suffering chronic pain which is an area of interest.

Schema Therapy is useful for those people who have tried other therapeutic approaches but seem to fall back into unhelpful patterns of behaviour.

This therapy helps link past events to the present experiences, challenge critical internal messages and seeks to develop healthier coping styles and a more nurturing and caring relationship with yourself.
