The Internet, Policy & Politics Conference 2016: “The Platform Society”, Oxford Internet Institute 22-23.Sept.2016

The ECPR Internet & Politics SG is pleased to support the Oxford Internet Institute in the organization of the 4th Edition of the Internet, Politics, and Policy (IPP)  Conference. Following the 20102012  and 2014 conferences, the IPP2016 explore “The Platform Society”, which addresses the politics and policy of online platforms. The conference aims to bring together scholars studying platforms, both in terms of interactions taking place on platforms and the data they generate, as well as the platforms themselves and how they are shaped and operated.

Convened by the Oxford Internet Institute (University of Oxford) and OII-edited academic journal Policy and Internet, and supported by the ECPR Standing Group on Internet and Politics, the conference will take place at the University of Oxford on 22-23 September 2016.
